Hi, I started to be interested in lucid dremaing about 10 days ago, so I am a newbie (but surprisingly I have already had a lucid dream, and it was amazing&#33.
By the way, this afternoon I had some free time and I said to myself:"Why don't try to induce sleep paralysis or other WILD stuff?". So I lied on my bed, concentrated on my breathing, etc... I was very relaxed, I saw ipnagogic images etc.. then I became unaware of time. Suddenly I begun to feel vibrations, they had very high frequency and seemed too real! Luckyly I was prepared for theese, on the contrary I wasn't prepared for a very real feeling of falling down, like I was on a roller coaster! It was so wierd, is it normal to feel like that?
After a while I recognized my bedroom, I thought I reached sleep paralysis, but I was awaken..

      P.S Forgive my english!

      Hi Coren!!

I'm not an expert at WILDing but I can say you these: What you've experienced is normal!

I've been trying WILD for about 2 weeks ans no success... I only reach the part of vibrations (I don't have any HI and sometimes I hear a loud metalic sound )

Feeling of falling down I have never felt, but one day I felt a little dizzy... But it depends of each person!

So, do not be afraid, just do it and with a little bit of patience and experience you'll have yours (I've lost my patience, so I stop doing WILD :yumdumdoodledum: )
      A new beginning?

yep what you felt is normal. of coarse its a little bit different for everyone so its hard to determine normal. Just be carful when you wild cause sometimes the lds you get from those can be pretty fragil. one time i had a wild and when i went into the dream i had no body, so what happened? i got kicked out lol anyway good job you got that far on your first try. congrats

      Thanks for the answers!
Tonight I have experienced my first WILD, it was 6:30 AM (I am Italian, six hours earlier than New York City), and I tryed it. Vibrations came and also a feeling of movement, but not falling down like on a roller coaster as I described in the previous post, just like falling down on the floor from bed! In fact I believed I was "truly" on the floor, but suddenly I stood in the middle of the room, my brother was in my bed and said to me:"Good job, you got it!". I began rubbing my hands and concentrate on the enviroment not to lost it. I went to my brother room, it was very dark, so I turned on the light but it didn't work (I did not make a reality check yet, so it was the final test I was really dreaming) . I opened the window, it was very dark, but I turned it lighter (like a sunrise). With an acrobatic move I got off the window, but from this moment I begun to lost control and I started to do very silly things until I woke up.

Coming into dream from reality is really amazing but the lucid dream I had before (obtained by RC) was much more vivid and made me to feel stronger sensations!

      Dream realism is random!!

it's impossible to determine if your next LD will be more realistic, but when inside your dream you can do a lot of things to increase vivdness and lucidiy too! Try to say loudd and clear: "Increase realism!!!" or "Increase vividness!!!!" and believing that it will increase it probably will work!

But if you want to do something more consistent just try to look at something inside your dream and try to see all details of it (exemple: your hands, the sky, a construction...)

In the not Wild LD I did that, many times everything seemed to disappear but I did rubbing and concentrated on every details of the enviroment ad it all became incredibly clear, all the stuff was so vivid!
On the contrary in the last one images were more "solid", so I did not concentrate and I begun to follow the "stream" of the dream instead of control it!

This morning I had another WILD. After relaxation, HI,... I began to feel vibration, then (while vibrating) I felt the sense of acceleration, movement and stuff like that. But the vibrations continued over and over and over again, I kept my mind concentrated, but they seemed to never end! So I began to feel bored and I got up, I turned the light on but the switch didn't work. So I realized I was dreaming, I walked from room to room and met my mother. She was older, but more beatiful than in real life, unfortunately the dream was not clear, and vivid and suddenly I woke up

I am happy with my second WILD but I'm getting a little frustrated because the first LD (it was a DILD) was the best, the next ones (a DILD and two WILDs) did not have the clarity, vividness, lucidity that the first one had. It was beginner luck or I ammissing something?

      P.S and forgive my English...
