I find it very disturbing almost everytime i become lucid. I am not afriad of being lucid...its more a fear of the change of perception. I am this way wiht a marajuana too, its just like your laying there in your bed thinking, Then all of a sudden you look around and your not where you were before. Its almost like a differnet world you are just sucked into. So almost everytime i become lucid i get frieghtened at first and then wake up in to SP.

      Anyone else feel this way?

Hmmm, I've been getting interested in LDing for 3 weeks, so I am a newbye...by the way sometimes when I go to bed extremely convinced to be aware in my dreams I have scaring hypnagogic images and I get terrifyng SP when I hear whispers and I feel someone touching me in my bed...
So I begin not to be OVER convinced to have lucid dreams and things turned better, I also had 2 WILDs and absolutely no fear (althought it is an amazing sensation to be teleported in a dream...).

Well, really, it's your own dream, so when you turn around, it doesn't HAVE to be a different place. It could be your own room, couldn't it? >_>

Indeed. A Change of Perception can induce a Reaction of Fear. Fear of the unknown cuz this is defenitly NOT the way you used to Percieve everything. Usually there's a Fear that the Changed perception won't retrn back to ''normal'' again maybe? I have had this in Lucid Dreams, in the beginning when I started smoking Marijuana and when doing Psilocybin Mushrooms. However I have learned not to Fear the altered Perceptions in intense Spiritual Experiences be it Dreams, Mushrooms trips or a Marijuana Buzz.

Here's my advice. Take this subject of Altered Perception in your mind, give it some thought and find out why you react with FEAR to it. Keep in mind that it is not a ''fearfull'' experience. It is a STRANGE experience, unlike any other consciously experienced perception, not Good nor Bad. If it feels strange it is instinct to feel Fear initially, because what we don't know may possibly hurt us right?

Just know that no matter how Psychotic your dream/psychedelic Experience may be, it will always end and at one point return to ''normal'' again. No effort is needed. Just go with the flow. No m,atter how intensely strong, wild and impressive the experience is; Go with it and let it take you where ever it leads to. Knowing there is no need to fear getting ''stuck'' in this Altered state of Awareness and Perception.

If you have maneged to Teach yourself that, whih can be quite a task, then your Strange lucid dreams, even your Nightmares, will become ''WONDERS'' and you'll experience them with Joy.

It al depends on what you THINK of it and how you react to it.
Luminous Spacious Dream Masters That Holographically Communicate
      among other teachers taught me

not to overestimate the Value of our Concrete Knowledge;"Common sense"/Rationality,
for doing so would make us Blind for the unimaginable, unparalleled Capacity of and Wisdom contained within our Felt Knowledge;Subconscious Intuition.
