It has been well over a year since I have posted here. I have been so buisy that I kinda lost track of everything. I had not attempted to go lucid for around 7 months untill about 2 months ago when I started practicing all of the techniques again. I know my dream signs, I do reality checks, I am completely jamming my subconcious with my desire to become lucid again and it is not working at all. I have tried WILD's, WBTB's, dream incubation, and even repetition. I just can't seem to become lucid anymore. I'm starting to think that I'm trying to hard. Is that even possible? Could I just be overloading my mind?
Some people carry on, some just stay right where they are.

Yes, it can be possible, with my only LD, I remember I didn't even think about having a Lucid, but maybe because it was my first. All i'm doing as far as techniques go are RCs and keeping a DJ.

I've read several post where people would try too hard and when they took a break, 'bam' they get a lucid.

Yes, You are so right. Thats how I got my 1st LD/Vivid Dream, by not thinking about it.
