Alright so in the past month I've had 4 different occassions where I've realized I was dreaming and literally 3 seconds later Im wide awake and I've labeled them Failed lucids in my dream journal (even though technically I guess they are lucids)

This past night however I did the WBTB as I have many times before and was especially tired going back to sleep. The whole time I was confident and told myself im going to have a lucid dream and that it will happen. I told myself the usual I'll remember all my dreams and wake up immediately after them.

I lay down in my usual position and Im starting to go to sleep and I actually felt my body slip into a deeper state of sleep, I've felt this a few times in the past but it stood out more this time. As soon as this happened I left this deeper state because I actually realized I was in it. This repeated a few times and finally I was in sleep paralysis. Never saw any HI or anything I just realized I was paralyzed and couldn't move. This didn't startle me because I've experienced it many times before and this actually led to one of my other 'failed lucids' previously'. So at this point I held my nose and tried to breath and of course I could so I slowly started to move. I had a very tough time moving but told myself im dreaming theres no reason why I cant move.

After that I proceeded to have a fairly long lucid dream. Was this actually a WILD? There was no HI but I basically went from being awake, to being in deeper sleep to realizing I was paralyzed....

Yeah, that was a WILD. I don't think there are specific things that always happen all the time. If you're conscious through the whole process of shifting from reality to dreaming, then that's a completed WILD.

      Good job!

It was weird because the first time I noticed myself falling into that deeper state of sleep and hit sleep paralysis and did a RC just to ignore it and go into a short dream where I wasn't aware. I woke up and the same thing happened except this time I overcame the sleep paralysis got up and went on with my dream with full consciousness....

Im interested to try this again when I wake up to see if it works again because the past two nights I spent drunk off my ass so it'll be nice to start remembering dreams again
