I don't know what's happened. I can't seem to control much of anything anymore. I consider myself a fairly experienced lucid dreamer, but in my last three lucid dreams I couldn't do anything I wanted to. The one I had last night, I was in my basement and randomly plugged my nose. Wooo! I was dreaming. I tried to fly but with no luck (a skill that I have previously mastered) I tried all different sorts of ways too. I tried the superman fist, flapping my arms and even growing wings but nothing would work. Then I went upstairs and saw that it was dark outside so I turned around and shouted "When I look out the window again it is GOING to be day time!" but.. It wasn't. Then I heard the shower and figured my dad was getting ready for work, so I went back downstairs and was afraid I was going to get in trouble. For some reason I thought that I was dreaming but sleepwalking at the same time.. I don't know what is wrong but it kind of sucks. Has this happened to anyone? What can I do to overcome it? |

You won't necessarily overcome it. That is not to say that you'll never fly/change dream scenes again.. what it means is that there is no such thing as 100% control, and anybody who says otherwise is grossly exaggerating and/or deluded.. |
