Possible Side Effects

Most people taking DMAE do not experience side effects. However, isolated adverse reactions have cropped up in different studies.

Pointless, but...

There was a pill out in canada that was for depression. Apparently, 5% of the people who took it had a certian side effect. The side effect was that they would have an orgasm when they yawned!

That would sure cure me if I had depression!

if anyone takes it please tell us ur experience i will take it if it increases lucid dreams and doesnt have any bad side effects

i gave it a whirl. it's only been one night so i'm not done researching it... here's what i've got so far...

my dream length drop dramatically. i did have one LD at the end of the night but i don't know if that's due to the DMAE or not yet... i'll get back to ya tomorrow and we'll go from there.

i took 100mg last night. no effect yet.

but i have been reading around and a lot of the benifits start only after 6 weeks of use. maybe we have to take it for about 6 weeks before any LD starts. just a thought.

^^right.....back to the DMAE . Today marks the first day of me taking DMAE tablets, I'll let u no how it goes, but has anyone ever seen these things?! They're HUGE!! They are as big as my creatine capsules!

I have been taking 200mg for the past 3 days. On the package it lists "vivid dreams" as a side effect - pretty sweet. Anyway, in the past 3 days I have only had 1 LD, it was this morning. It lasted pretty darn long - until I thought "How long is this dream going to last?" I had a lot of control (like creating small items: boxes, cakes, etc.).

So, I think it is working pretty good. If you are still unsure on whether to take it or not: take it. It has given me no side effects and pretty good results.

yeah i had to stop taking them. i got in a car accident and crushed my hand... now i'm taking anti-biotics and tons of pain killers. the doc says that i shouldn't be taking any other meds.

i'll pick up on it again in a couple months.

i will say this; morphine does not give you dreams.... neither does perkaset or vicadin.

what about placebos? tell somebody to randomly replace your pills with placebos, but not often so that you have a good idea in your head that it is the real thing. and in the morning, ask if it was a placebo, or the real thing.

timspainhour, whats the suggested dose? i have a bottle of 351mg pills... the directions say take 1-2 pills daily or as advised... 200mg might not be enough.

well, my bottle says take 100mg a day or as advised. i don't really think they know what the best dosage is. but you brought up a good point; i might start taking more.
