      Pets

I see people in my family all the time in my dreams. I see places I have not been to in years every once in awhile. Yet even though I see my dog like every day for past 7 or 8 years I can't remeber ever seeing it once in any of my dreams. Anyone else have that problem?

Ps. I wonder what dogs dream about, I see her shaking and stuff and her eyes moving around so I know shes dreaming of something heh.

I have 12 fish. I've had dreams where I've seen all of them. I also have a cat, but I have NEVER had a dream about her.

I've dreamed with my lizard before. I also asked a kitten that I took care of (I miss her so much) to tell me what her name was, and she answered me in a dream. A friend's bird also led me out of a dream loop, but I didn't actually dream of her. I just heard her tweeting. Other than that, I can't think of any pets that I've dreamed of.

I'm sure animals dream, though I couldn't begin to guess what about.

I have had numerous dreams about my dog. I am not sure if this plays a role in it or not but my neighbors four %*#%@& Irish setters are let outside every morning about 5:30. Somtimes it wakes me up. Somtimes it does not. When it doesn't I somtimes wonder if I here them while I'm asleep then causing me to dream of my own dog.

I saw something below a towel and said (I dont know why) it's my cat X2... And sure enough there were 2 clones of my cat

I remember about a year ago, I had a dream where I was holding my dog, then I dropped him on his head. The dream then fast forwarded a couple weeks or so, when I realized there was something different about him. Turns out he suffered brain damage or something, and then my parents switched him with a dog that looked exactly the same without telling me. Man was I pissed off... lol.

      What was its name?[/b]
Her name was Ghaya (like the spirit of earth). In the dream, I saw a pair of hands passing a bowl of milk to me. I heard a voice say, very clearly, "Gaia".

When I woke up the next morning, she was next to me. I said the name aloud, and she lifted her head to look at me. I could almost feel her acknowledgement of the name. I miss her a lot. She was seriously intelligent. I could speak to her like I would speak to any human being, and she understood what I was saying. I always think about her, and I wonder who has her now. She was adopted within days of my bringing her to the shelter. I wish we could have stayed together, but that's a long story that I won't get into.

Ever have a pet like that? One that was too smart to be considered a 'pet'?

No, but I do have one that bites my socks.

      Does that count?

My first LD after visiting this site.> I had to clean-up because because my dog pooped on my bed and I saw a light and became lucid.

      I don't think dogs LD.

Bite socks? You never guess what mine went and did with my socks the other day.

Yeah, that's right. Pooped in it. It was great fun putting it on. Really woke me up. There I am half asleep putting a sock on, and then it rolls out all over the bed.

Been awhile since I posted this, but I started noticing my dog. Infact in the last two days I had a dream about my dog. One there was like 30 dogs that all looked the same as mine so I went around trying to find which one really was but I couldn't. Then another was doing stuff with my friends and we were talking about our pets.

I am glad this topic triggered my memory.

I mentioned before my friend Adam could lucid dream all his life at will. He said in one of his dreams he gave his dog Nestle the power to speak with him. He said he had a very long conversation with his dog and learned things he never knew, like how he felt, what he did when he was sad, how he felt about life, etc... Of course this was all his mind talking to him in the form of his dog, but heck, it really made me and want to try it when I become as controlled as he is.

Has anyone else done this? Gave powers to objects that do not have them in real life?
Q - What has two legs and bleeds?

      A - Half of a dog.

I see my dead cat in my dreams every once in a while. It always seems like one of those dreams that is more than a dream, like she is really there... (we knew each other for 14 years... she grew up with me.)
