Sorry if I am not posting this correctly, this is my first topic after all

Anyway, I have lucid experiences quite often, but lately I have recurring problems with waking up. Sometimes after I realize I am lucid, I get this weird urge to blink. I can feel my real life eyes open and needing a good blink, and once I blink, it all goes black and I am awake.

What can I do to suppress the feelings of your real body while dreaming? You know, when you can still see your dream, but you start to feel your pillow and hear your bedroom sounds around you. Often times you get this feeling of "aww man, it was only a dream. Might as well wake up, not worth staying asleep for", and you just get forced right out of your dreams. What are some of your techniques to get out of this and stay in your dream world?

Or- staying calm! Relax because most of the time people wake up when they're too excited
