What I mean by the "Moment of Lucidity" is the moment of revelation, when your eyes are unblinded, and you can see things when lucid.

I've never had a lucid dream (yet), but I am working on it. I'm trying to imagine what it is like, so when it happens i'll recognize that and stabilize myself before the dream disappears. I'm inferring that dreams are fuzzy, like you only have your senses (sight, mainly) at 50% efficency, but when you become lucid, it is like a blanket being pulled from your eyes, and everything is clear, you become concious, you can think straight, you ARE aware!

If this isn't what happens, someone please explain it to me, so I can better understand lucidity! Thanks,

Lucidity can be different depending on how vivid the dream is. If it isn't very vivid then it can be a blur and you can't think straight where as if its very vivid then it can be really clear and you can think as clear as day. Usually the first few lucids aren't vivid but after a while they become alot better. Ofcourse you can have vivid lucids right form the beginning as well.

my first lucid was like that. It was like "im dreaming?!??!? whoah!!" everything was as clear as real life. the 2nd lucid and on were not exactly like that. oh sure just about all of them were as clear and realistic as real life, even down to the littlest detail, but it didnt have that same effect as the first.

anyway hope u have your first lucid soon!

They can be a lot like real life, or they can be the weirdest cartoony thing ever. It is a really strange and fun experience to be lucid in a dream.

It's like playing a video game, only you control it with your mind.
