I am currently reading exploring the world of lucid dreaming by stephen laberge. In the beginning section he talks about how he proved lucid dreaming to be true. He slept at a lab and they hooked up transmitterse to moniter his eye movement and when he became lucid he simply moved his eyes in a simple pattern to let the scientist on the waking world that he was lucid.

Now im sure this has already been talked about, but wouldn't it be cool to take this a step forward and create a sort of sign language with the eyes. That way you could describe everything you saw as it was happening and then someone could moniter it and write it down as you said it..

I have no idea if this is possible but It sounds pretty cool atleast...

Well, it would be hard and useless since we can remember dreams, write them down, and then tell the person, plus you can't really use eyes for any type of language, since they can only go up, down, left, right, diaganal, etc. Try to make the entire English language using just those movements.

Yeah i'm reading tha book, up to about chapter 7 I think, grwat book! They also use different eye signals to tell the people at the lab what sort of action the are taking in the dream, the scientists then monitor theyre body and compare the reactions of the body in the dream, with those that would happen in real life. Turns out they are basically identical.

nice, it would be cool, but what would be awesome is if they could connect up to his vision and see what he is seeing through his eyes like a camera, but its all your imagination so that probably wouldn't work, i always wondered how they proved that lucid dreaming was possible.

ya thats true, but I didn't mean an entire language. It would have to be really basic, but your right there really isn't a point to it if you can just wake up and tell them.

Well, that way we can find out of if we see stuff, that we don't remember.

It's already been done, in the 1970s, in the Department of Parapsychology at the University of Edinburgh (UK).

They had 3 top LDers. They taught them morse code, and told them to bang on one knee in morse code, when they got lucid. They wired up a computer to a leg muscle on each dreamer and had live reports coming out when they were fast asleep and LDing..via the leg muscles twitching in morse code.. "I am standing in such-and-such a place and I can see..." etc. They filmed it and put it on TV.
