      What's yours look like?
I think I found mine last night, but lost lucidity shortly after.
      What are they for anyway?

I, unfortunately haven't found my dreamguide yet. I would like to though.
      What does yours look like?
What are they for? Well, according to most people they are figures of your subconscious that know just as much or more about you than you. So you could have a conversation with him/her/it and find out some stuff about you, or just chill out with him/her/it, it's up to you.

I got a question, can you "manufacture" you own dream guide in your mind? Or are they something you can't control?
An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules.

Well this wasn't my dreamguide then cause it's not what I wanted my dream guide to look like. What I had done was shouted that I wanted to see my dream guide then all the sudden people parted and there stood a little girl that was about 12 years old. I told her nicely "no offense, but I was expecting a gorgeous 20 something guy". She told me I'd have to take it up with the queen or something like that. (I think it was a DC with nothing better to do) The next thing I know I'm standing in front of some queen. I lost lucidity pretty quick after that and I can't remember the rest. I think I'll dream up another one the next time.

No offence to Neville J, but most people think you can't manufacture the apperance of your DG. They are who they are, so next time you yell you want your dreamguide, and WHOEVER or WHATEVER it turns out to be, don't turn it down, question it first. If it is your dreamguide, you should be respectful.

I was respectful, but just shocked at who my dream guide turned out to be. She seemed a little smart allec, but I guess they are sometimes.

From my experiances of dream guides they should be more respectful, mine (I'm pretty sure I found my dream guide, he's in quite a few dreams) is mean. Also I think a "dream guide" is just a person that you don't know in real life that appears in your dreams more often than other dc's, don't think there some speacial "spirit guide" or whatever.

It's all about dreamcontrol. In the beginning, I could not control his/her appearence. In one dream it was a female-version of Blade, in another it was a little boy. A couple of weeks ago, I managed to create this trick that works almost everytime. First, I summon a normal DC (you should be able to summon anyone you'd like, i.e. a familymember or your idol, someone famous). And second, I pick up a neckless out of my pockets. I hold my neckless next to the neckless of the DC(I gave my DG a neckless the first time we met) and it will appear to be flickering a blue-ish light. This is the sign he/she is my DG, or even better the sign that makes the DC turn into a DG. I can do it with any DC, it's not nessesary summon them, but than they won't be like how I want them to be.

Most important is (I think) that you must find your DG for the first time so you'll know the ''feeling'' of it's presence before you can manufacture him/her.
''Well this wasn't my dreamguide then cause it's not what I wanted my dream guide to look like.''
This isn't gonna work. Unless you have ultimate dreamcontrol.

And with manufacture I don't mean I can control the color of his/her eyes what kind of clothes he/she is wearing, but more summoning a person as a whole.

Hum, I haven't found mine yet, then again I'm working on just getting some more Lucid dreams for myself first. But it does sound cool to have some DC be your guide and know you better than you know yourself, I've had things related to this where I felt someone in a dream knew me well but it wasn't onbe cionsisten person, so I don't know if its my true guide.

Anyway, I'm sure there are, you will find the dream being soon, work on your LD's and once you got somma that down, you can explore if you like and find your dream guide.

Good luck to you (and me, and all)
