Would it be possible to ask assistance of a dream guide or DC to help you stay lucid by smacking you or reminding you or whatever needs be? Do you think this would work at all? Or maybe you could manufacture something that was always by with you like a dream pet or something that was always in view that symbolized lucidity or something?
      Ever tried it?

I think having something in every lucid dream is a great way to keep lucidity. But I never tried it. I tend to have more problems with false awakenings then with losing lucidity and fadding back into the dream. But I think DC's could also talk you out of thinking your being in a dream I remember one dream I was lucid and I told a DC that it's just a lucid dream and that dude said no it isn't I said yea it is and he said if your so sure i's a lucid dream stand on those train tracks (or something like let a train ran you over scince I was in a railroad yard). I did and the train went though me, for a while. But anyway That DC didn't talk me out of lucidity but I'm sure some might be able to, especially if its people you know because it make the idea of the lucid dream being RL seem more realistic.
