Hey, i'm goin to bed in about 5 minutes, what can i do to make sure that after waking to my alarm after 5-6 hours of sleep i think about lucid dreaming and hopefully carry my consciousness into my dream, everytime i wake to my alarm i turn it off and go back to sleep, help would be great!

Get out of bed, don't just turn off the alarm. Get out of bed and to the bathroom or something. Stay awake for at least five minutes then try. Hope you succeed!

Get up and walk around your room once or twice. If you have a book or anything else on lucid dreaming handy, look at it, or maybe browse through it for a few minutes.

      Hope this helps!

Think about the other dreams you had during the first 5 or 6 hours.

For a true WBTB you should stay awake about 30 minutes (some say 90 is the best) then go back to sleep and perform a lucid induction technique. WILD or MILD are good choices after a WBTB.
