Yeah...sorry I was feeling whimsy when I wrote it. A couple weeks ago I was wishin to find a group of dreamers online I could talk to about dreaming. I stumbled on the site and I have been glued since! I love the forums and all the wonderful and interesting people I have met!! Just sayin thanks I guess! -J

Just sayin thanks I guess! -J [/b] I think it was poetic what you said, pretty kind thing to say, I'm glad theres people like this around here too, kind of interesting to meet some one who's gay, I never got to do that, but I bet you there's alot of closet homosexuals around the world we don't know about, lucius was gay I wonder if he still hangs around here. very spiritual too, just like you. EDIT: can't seem to find anything on it though, don't take my word for it though, I was sure he was gay, maybe he was quite about it or something, although he was probably bisexual, if anything.

Good to hear....I was honestly suprised to see the full spectrum mix of people here. I never thought I would meet hard-ass type people on this web site, but i can tell already there are some. Being gay and into dreaming I thought it was a girly thing or something....I am revising that view...seems to simply be a human thing Thanks guys!

Yes, I'm also happy I've met alot of people on this website. Its incredible I also was looking for a helpful website, and this one is like an entire universee with almost all kind people. That's you, I guess we had the same dream It also opened alot of connections with people using the simple PM function. I feel like we're all a big dreaming family! Yay!

Intention-manifestation and lucid dreaming tend to overlap a bit, in my mind, for some reason. Maybe the skeptic in me files both topics under the 'Slightly Flakey?' label. I do tend to dream about what I'm trying to 'materialize.' I can't say whether it ever improves my outcome, though.

Haha...yeah I usually say manifestation too...I dont know where that came from... sometimes, weirdo i am But yes Spritely, I agree that they do over-lap....but i wouldnt say flakey...get this: Ok so I was reading this book in december where a woman got involved in a séance group and many strange things happened to her. In one such séance the spirit of Mother Teresa appeared just after she died and rose petals fell from the air all around them. So I was like, well who knows...there are fakers out there right? "And besides I can't manifest rose petals...thats too much making something real out of nothing..." OK- well that day I went for a walk with my flute on the bike paths and it happened to be the winter solstice. As I was walking down the path I saw a bamboo thicket off a little ways. My flute is made of bamboo so I thought "how poetic...I can play my bamboo flute to the bamboo on the winter solstice- I will play a song to usher in the lengthening sun." Well I get in there and start playing when I hear little children. "Mom- I hear music" So suddenly these two little blonde blue eyed twin girls burst out of the underbrush and stand staring at me in silence. Ok, well twins have freaky energy to begin with. Then I meet there mom...total free spirit, we start talking about the solstice. While we do I wonder, "hey what if I took some of this bamboo with me and try to make a flue myself." Just as I think this she says 'Well its funny we bumped into you, we were just thinking about taking some of that bamboo they cut up over there home with us to make a flute." WHAT? Haha, ok...so just around the corner is a huge pile of pre-cut bamboo....just waiting for me. In victory I return with a huge pole of bamboo...ten feet long...over my shoulder giving thanks to the solstice and the special friends I was thinking of that day, along with the mother and her mystical twins. As I walked home, about halfway there, I was walking down a side street when I saw something funny on the sidewalk ahead. When I got close I couldn't believe it- rose petals!!! ROSE PETALS!!! Fifty feet of rose petals spread along the walk-way! I was BLOWN AWAY! (And kinda freaked out) How could this be? What are the chances in the middle of december you are going to find rose petals spread all over the ground? Amazing, simply amazing!

Wow, that's amazing! (And I've always wanted to make a flute out of bamboo, too. The closest I can get here, sadly, are brittle reeds.) I've had little synchronistic experiences before, but that's just mindblowingly huge. I've been trying to focus my manifestations lately. I'm decent at making myself believe things-- "I like to run! I love exercise! I can dream lucidly! Today is an adventure!"-- but the external world is much harder to influence. If I focus, say, on finding money, I tend to find change lying on the ground far more, or I'll find out about a contest with a cash prize, or someone will remember to pay me back money they borrowed... ...but the question is, am I really creating it, or am I just noticing what I think about more?

I know, its hard to believe your mind can affect the world but....THE WORLD IS EMPTY!! Atoms are 99.999% space- they are there because you see them (THATS IT). Ever since I was young I've had this image in my head of people sitting on a lawn of grass with music music music. This summer I went to a place called Kalalau where I met a community of people living at the end of the trail- no roads, no electricity, only brookes of spring water. While there, my first full day, I met the most amazing people and just stayed with them. That night we went "To the Bluff" where drums, flutes, guitars, and touched souls came together. Suddenly we were out on the bluff, surrounded by giant boulders moved by Hawaiian people without knowledge of pulleys or machinery...and i found myself in that image I had always held in my mind. I can't even tell you how beautiful...how many stars...and the bizzare and tickling personalities I found there. Those things happen, if your open to it...if you dare to be open to it...

Haha, wonderful. I'm certainly trying to open my mind to the impossible. A friend and I were talking a few weeks ago about the philosophic and metaphysical implications of quantum mechanics, and they jokingly proposed the 'one electron theory': a universe made of nothing but one particle, moving so fast that it's omnipresent, recreating what we see every instant, affected by and creating those who see it... ...I don't know why, but this faintly absurb concept struck me as one of the most beautiful things I'd ever heard. On manifestation: have you ever attempted to get a few people to manifest, or materialize something, together? I've worked with friends to affect small changes, but I've often wondered what effects one could get with a larger group.

First off that One Electron thing....MMMMmmmmmmHHHHHHMMMmmmmmm..... Theres definately a One thing going on. Question: What do you know as "one" who or what is the "one". What gives you a sense of singularity? And on group things: yes, I have met and gone through some interesting things with friends: 1) at one time I was very into meditation on philosophy with a friend. At the end of this special time I had with this person I had an experience with her that was in some ways hard to explain we were able to feel one another's minds in a strange way where I knew she knew what I knew...and I knew she knew. So for this moment, which seemed like forever we had this amazing exchange and i don't think I could ever describe it. 2) Another time with this same girl we were sitting meditating with incence and she says to me "I like this incense" and I say "yea, well its nag champa, its the best!" then she's like "well, i mean this ONE, I think this one is special" A little smile on my face. We begin to focus on the incense and I begin to percieve strange things in the smoke...it begins to twist intensly on itself, breaking into two colums of smoke...twirly faster and faster until it seemed to vibrate. At this moment someone who I was having difficulty with enters the room and something becomes clear to me that i had missed before....I entered a hightened awareness and almost saw through the problem to its root at this instant. The girls get up and leave. VERY WEIRD NIGHT! 3) another time with a friend we were at the beach and meditating, talking about the universe, etc. When I closed my eyes i could see this light inside my body, but it seemed like it was outside me too. It was a bright yellow and green, kinda a criss cross pattern came from it looking like steps. When I opened my eyes a bright glowing star appeared over the water....you know what im gonna say next....then it was hovering for a while....then moved again....the hovered...then ANOTHER one appeared....and I wasn't the only one seeing this. I dont know any planes or helecopters that just shine bright white constantly, brigher than a star. I asked my friend if he had any body light/chakra thing happening and he described something similar. We believe at that moment we broke into something and were shown something wonderful. 4) On a rush hinking trip me and three friends jumped on a plane, drove to a camp site, and hiked 11.5 miles in three hours for simply....well it was a special day...a cosmic alignment of stars that happens once in a blue moon. As we are hiking in I am leading and find a little kitty (less that 5 weeks old) sitting in the middle of the trail and we take it with us. When we get to the camp site we find out its one of our friend's birthdays there and he HATES CATS haha....so we hike in 11 miles with a cat to find its the birthday of the guy who doesn't want anything to do with cats haha. It was pretty funny when the whole thing unraveled. When we got in we met some new people...an artist with wonderful work and of course many soulful musicians. One of the girls with us met an awesome guy (they still talk) and we really felt good. Next day we got up at dawn, hiked the 11 miles back and got back to the airport in time to catch a plane. 5) at a group mditation we did a meditation in silence. After a moment a eletricity took hold in the air. I had the realization that there are two people inside of me and one of them is always centered, sees all. At that instant a shockwave went through my body and, like before, I could see this light inside my body. I felt huge inside, like I would burst I was so full. As this happened to me I reached a hightened awareness and I could sense and hear this shockwave move through the crowd. Later that night, and the end of the session, a lady got up and told the instructor she had felt something very inspiring during the meditation. I knew I had felt the same thing as many others in the room had. I had tears in my eyes. These are the group experiences I have had....many more to talk about too....I just put the most memorable ones here. (The ones when I am just by myself are the most crazy cause then....yeah haha, hard to explain those ones)
