Hi to the peples. There was a dream last night, and I can't call it a lucid dream, yet feel it was close. I was jumping off of a cliff and said to myself "Hey, I can fly down, so why not fly down instead of falling" I never made the realization I was dreaming, yet somehow I knew the laws of physics could be broken.

Does this happen to alot of people?

Was that an almost Lucid dream?

Do you think it might mean that I'm bordering lucidity and sometime soon my mind will "click" and boom the revelation is there? ......or was it just a cool dream.

Any related ideas or anything is appreciated

Although you were not lucid dreaming, you had dream control (or knew you could control your dream). There is a difference between dream control and lucidity, as when you are lucid you are aware that you are dreaming, but when you can dream control you are aware that you control this "reality" (as while dreaming you think this is happening in real life).
This is a good sign. You are very close to becoming lucid, so keep going.
      Good luck.

Sounds like you have more control in your non-lucids than I usually do in lucids. I think it is a good sign too and hopefully the good control will be available in your lucids as well.

I also agree with keeping your mind on it, think about it every day, practice your RC's...but sometimes, just go to bed, don't think about it, maybe even say out loud you just don't care if you have a lucid dream, and just plan on having a good nights sleep.... and that's when it will likely happen.

Thanks Moonbeam, I'm glad you agree. I hope I can get that control eventually with lucids. Yes, i will continue doing some reality checks and examining everything during the day, yet I also will puton a passive face if you know wht I mean and let my mind do is thing during the night with just a little interest

A lot of reverse psychology seems to be involved in this lucid dreaming, humm

Eh, I find my dreams work there way around lucidity, dreaming about dreams etc. Perhaps we can force ourselves to RC and think if we could be dreaming, every time we even think or do anything realted to dreams. At least with me I think this might help.

my dreams are so incredibly vivid, an entire world in and of itself.
