Can anyone write down the best reality check schedule you can think of? I never know when I should do it or not... I'm alittle new also... Write what checks to do and when in the day. Gladly appreciate it.

Do RCs whenever you remember to do them or when someting weird/bizzare happens or when you experience a strong/weird emotion.

As I wrote in another thread:

The best RCs are the following:
-Digital clock/watch reality check. You look at the clock, then look back. Do that two or three times and you will notice the clock change if you are dreaming. It is inevitable. Even the most stable and realistic dream WONT be able to maintain a stable digital clock for more than a couple times. The clock will change.. That is pretty much a law of lucid dreaming. Use it to your advantage. It doesnt matter if you do a RC on the clock out of habit or need, you will become lucid regardless.

-Light switch RC. An OK RC when you need one, but works wonderfully out of habit. Once again, almost like a law of dreaming - the mind has trouble switching from dark room to light room instantly. Even if the lights will turn on, there will be artefacts, glitches, not all the lights will turn on at once. That is very easy to spot.

-Reading RC - read a word or a sentence, and read it over once or twice. It will change or will make little sense. Once again the mind has trouble keeping the text stable, therefore it is almost like a law and is pretty easy to use. [/b]

Its good to do a few a day. Take a moment to look around you and truly ask yourself, "Could I possibly be dreaming" compare it to any dreams you've had if you like. You can hold your nose and try to inhale (in a dream you would be able to thus making you lucid). Just be aware of your surroundings, and pay some more attention to your dreams, to see what you commonly dream about. This and Reality checking and thoughts towards lucidity can help you get on your way.

      good luck

I strongly disagree, the hand RC check's are the most effective for me. Ie. Finger through hand, toes on hand, et cetera.

Won't people think I'm wierd if I go around doing all these reality checks?

I do RCs in places that I usually see in my dreams. I often get out of my bedroom in dreams, so every time I actually leave my bedroom I try to do a RC, to get the habit and, hopefully, start doing it each time I leave the room in dream.
In the same way, I often dream of churches, supermarkets and railways, so everytime I go in one or near one in real life, I do a RC, to try and make it become instinctive.
