okay, i know i've posted a thread like this before. so, i've looked at the sleep cycle charts on google images before and the earliest one i found for the third REM period was 4 hours 30 minutes and the latest was 6 hours. i have infact, woken up at the end of a dream after 6 hours. anybody have an estimate of when i should get up in the middle of the night to do a technique if i know my dream would end around 6 hours and don't know when it would start? much thanks. and don't post a sleep cycle chart, i've looked at a lot, unless you HAVE to.

oh, and is it better to wake up during or before the REM period. and would it still work if i woke up in a REM period? thanks

I don't think you can be that exact since everyone is dfferent. Definetly if you get more than six hours of sleep 6 hours sounds good. Then you'll have time to practice a technique to go right back into REM sleep. Eh I think its better to wake inside a REM since you'll know you can go right back in, you risk if you do it before, screwing up the timing and going into another stage of sleep, so i say wake up somewhere just after 6 hours

      good luck
