      Strange experiences with WILD’s.

The only way I have been successful in having lucid dreams has come through doing a WILD.

In the past few months I have succeeded in having three lucid dreams. I have been unsuccessful multiple times. I often find that:

      1) I am in a partially lucid state. That is, I have sensations of flying around the room etc. I have no control of the ‘dream world’ in this state, I can even crack my eyes open a tad and can actually see my REAL bedroom. This is normally short lived and I awaken momentarily upon opening my real eyes.
      2) I have an ‘awakening’ in my dream, which generally involves me falling onto the dream floor. I then move around in slow motion and everything appears blurred and abstracted. I once was able to come out of this ‘choppy’ state by concentrating on becoming lucid.

Has anyone else ever gone through this stuff? I have also had about four episodes of sleep paralysis and that is not the case.

I've had similar experiences with SP(I know you said it isn't SP, but this may help). The time when you said you fell onto the dream floor could've bee like an OBE type lucid dream. At least that's what happened to me, but I was purposely trying to "roll" out of my body at the time during the SP(which works quite well btw). After I fell out of my body I was crawling on the ground trying to hold on because everything was spinning and blurry. What I did was grabbed onto something solid and thought about how real it felt. Then I proceeded to look at my hands for a sec., look away, then repeat 2 more times. This caused me to calm down and the dream stabilized afterwards. That turned out to be my most real feeling lucid dream. Good luck with yours.
