Something Cool Happened...

I remember a couple of years ago, when I was in a partial lucid dream, and I was able, believe it or not, able to open my eyes quickly, and then shut them again for no apparent reason, and I was still in my dream, and I am SURE I did open my eyes. I don't know if I'm the only one who've done this before.

Did you open your eyes into reality? or the dream, I'm not quite sure I understand. If you were awake and then opened again into a dream that is quite impressive. Good job on the LD anyway Ah and welcome, dreamviews is definetly the place to go

me two my mom came in to wake me up so i opened my eyes sat up and told her to turn off the light. than i closed my eyes and apoligized to the dcs for blaking out for a second

I occassionally have had a dream that continued a few minutes later but I think its pretty rare. there are times that I've contiued the next night or so. Sounds like you have some good control keep going

Well, that seems to be the only time I was able to do that in my life, and there was this other time when I had a lucid dream, and I was able to wake up just by wanting to (me saying to people in my dream, "I gotta go, bye" then i find myself in bed) but I don't think that is really impessive

I've done things of that nature before. It is kind of cool, when you realize what was going on...

Being able to continue a dream seems pretty natural. A wake up a lot in the middle of the night, despite my attempts to shield my ears from noise with earplugs. If my dream has not finished then I interrupt it. If I do interrupt it I just close my eyes and continue the dream while I'm awake, slowly falling asleep as I enter back into the dream. Sometimes I change the story or situation before I go to sleep and then my dream will take over from where I left off, only this time adding completely random things, as most dreams do. Perhaps, if I knew about lucid dreaming then, I would have tried to control it while I was asleep instead of missing the chance. It's bound to come up again though...

lol people, long time ago, I was having a pseudo-nightmare I was already pre-pre-pre-lucid, like, I was counscious but not of tha fact that I was in a dream in my dream, I was hiding from whatever bad people, duwanna tell the whole dream right now but then, when I hid in a tight place with a friend of mine (who was hiding with me), when I tried to look out for the bad guys coming, I couldn't see anything... then I thought "you dull, you won't be able to see anything with your eyes closed", and as I opened my eyes, I saw my bedroom (which I didn't realise until I had woken up).. I'm pretty sure I opened my eyes in reality.. after that I just came back to the dream, it had changed a little.. some other things happened in the dream and then my dream friend told me to wake up, and I did weird little thing, but I luv these semi-nightmares, they make you feel in the adventure of your lifetime sorry for making you read it all xD hugzorz
