I had a long dream last night and I kept talking to various people about lucid dreaming. At one point I even induced a short lucid dream within my dream. Unfortunately, unlike you, this did not help me realize the nature of my situation--despite the glaring illogic of the world around me and the solution that was on the tip of my mind: "I'M DREAMING!"
