      Hi
I read some information that you can forget your lucid dream so easy like simple dream, but I’m start wondering, cos when I had my LD's I can remember them in all details, like it was real life experience. So I can't understand now, if there are LD modifications strong, week?? Don’t know.
p.s. my dream recall is not so good so it makes things stranger

Well....it's really rare not to remember your LDs unless they are really long or you weren't fully lucid...

I remember most of my lucid dreams, however, I've forgotten quite a few only to smack myself on the head later in the day when something triggered recall of the LD.

I believe it's a matter of how vivid the dream is as well as when it occurred during the night, also tiredness plays a role.

Actually, I believe people do frequently forget about some LDs they had. They just dont remember they did I myself occasionally recall chunks and bits of a lucid dream I had halfway through the day. Usually a deja vu or something else triggers the memory.

However, heres a few things to reconsider:

1- The more frequently you LD (and the longer youve been doing) the easier it will be for you to forget one every now and then. After all, they wont be as shocking an experience as when you just start out

2- Like seeker mentions, if youre more tired and stressed, and your mind is cluttered with other things youre more likely to forget any dream, ld or not

3- If you worry youre going to forget an LD, be sure to note to yourself, while still inside the LD, to remember it upon awakening. I think such a note is good to make and should be a part of general relaxation upon becoming lucid

I'm really not trying to be a wise-ass, but how would you even know you had an LD if you couldn't remember the dream?! Maybe we're all having lots of LDs and just not remembering them!

I heard that when you LD, you wake up feeling refreshed (That's what I heard. I don't knw if it's true or not lol) but if it's true, then it's enough verification that you had an LD. When I wake up I feel slightly hot, but after a few minutes I start thinking about something (which could be a bit of a pain when trying to remember a dream for a Dream Journal)

every morning after having a lucid dream and you dont remember, but you feel something happened between falling asleep and waking up, you just try to remeber it a bit and all is gonna be clear again
