      Hey, i'm doing a guide topic on how to build Awareness and improve your memory, now i've done this in the last hour and i really need to go to bed now, i want opinions, how to improve, this is only part of it, should i continue? suggestions on how to improve would be great as this is incomplete at the moment, i'll put the full thing up tomorrow night of wednesday night. any comments and feedback would be great for me to improve it, alot of people are wondering how to improve awareness and improve their memory, so maybe my tips can help.

      ---------------------------------------------------------UNDER CONSTRUCTION----------------------------------------------------

      Hey, this topic is designed to help people build their awareness and train their memory to enable the best possible lucid experience. I can only offer resources and tips, i myself am in the middle of training my awareness and memory and so far i have had sucess, my dreams do seem alot more vivid than say a month ago. I have not proven these ideas work but i hope that they will work for you if you give them a try. One thing you must take into consideration is that these things take time, you need to be commited if you want to suceed. Here goes.

      <div align="center">--------BUILDING AWARENESS--------</div>

      The majority of us tend to drift through our lives and stick too a constant routine, we never look beyond, we only sometimes question our reality, in a way we create our own reality, our own little world that we feel comfortable in, but in fact we are sitting inside a bubble that we believe is reality, we need to pop this bubble and awaken to REALITY. We only seem to question reality if something that is not part of our daily cycle penetrates our bubble. In a way, we are drifting through life knowing only what is within the bubble. If you commit yourself to seeking what is beyond you bubble by continuously questioning, you will eventually pierce through, you will realise the restrictions you once had, but now you can think as freely as you like, your don&#39;t have to drift through life, you can go at your pace, you have complete control. The problem is that we become so locked into our daily life we seem to forget what life is really about, we forget the values and principles, we never stop and think about ourselves, question our existence, ask ourselves why? As we get caught in this bubble our awareness slowly deteriorates, we lose the ability to do such things, the big problem is that its incredibly difficult to seize back what is yours. It takes time and effort.

      STEP 1 - AWARENESS/FOCUS CHECK
      Before building your awareness you need to know what your level of awareness is. I have found that if you want to test how aware you are you can use the following techniques that have worked for me.

      - Song Awareness Check
      Step 1 - Find your favourite song
      Step 2 - Listen too it once, without any distractions, don&#39;t multi task either.
      Step 3 - After listning to it once, listen to it again, but this time count along to the song, count each second out loud until you reach the end of the song.

      After performing this you will probably notice that counting along to the song took longer than listning to the song on its own, this is because you put your concentration into making sure that you counted each second, the good thing about this is that you had a high level of awareness through the entire duration of that song. When not aware, things seem to last alot shorter. You could say that being more aware can make sure you live every second of your life, not skip through it like theres no tomorrow.

      Before moving on too the next exercise we have to consider focus, in our dreams we are not going to be able to question anything if our focus keeps jumping around, we need to fix our focus by focusing on one thing at a time. This is what is good about this next exercise.

      - The Clock Focus Check
      Step 1 - Grab a clock, it can be a digital clock but it must have seconds displayed on it, otherwise this will not work.
      Step 2 - Start following the second hand or timer from the nearest minute. Count too a minute by following the clock.
      Step 3 - If you find that you can count too a minute without losing focus, try two minutes.
      Step 4 - Keep adding a minute until you find that you lose focus whilst counting.

      Once completing this, you can determine how long you can focus on something for before getting sidetracked. In a dream your responses are bound too be alot slower so you need to make sure you can remain focused enough to question whether you are dreaming or not. You can train your focus using this exercise. This exercise will make sure that when that opportunity comes to question your reality in a dream, you seize it, and take your time, instead of been sidetracked by your dream characters or what ever can sidetrack you in your dreams.

      The purpose of this first step is too determine what your level of awareness is and too get you in rhythm with reality, hence the counting, you need too stop drifting without a chance to question, you need too be aware of every second of your life. Its basically getting in sync, this in equal will give you more of a chance too question things. You have control of how you use your time.

      I for one am very interested in this sort of study. I want to be able to control my thoughts; a very difficult task for me. I can focus, but only if I&#39;m not doing ANYTHING else. For instance, if I&#39;m trying to fall asleep or WILD, my mind wanders WAY too much, against my will it seems&#33; ARG&#33;

      I&#39;m willing to participate: I&#39;ll try these exercises tomorrow morning after I wake up, before my WILD exercise. I don&#39;t remember my dreams often, but in the dreams I DO remember I&#39;m pretty average when it comes to focusing. Hopefully you study can help&#33;
