      Hi everybody.

First off, one thing I have to say...

      Im 13.

      There, I said it.

I know I am supposed to be 15...

      And I am sorry...

But LD's are just soooo cool, from what I have read and heard.

      So,

What time is reccomennded to go to sleep at?

      Like... 11Pm, 12Pm... 1Am... Etc Etc

I dont get to sleep that well, thats why i started this topic.

      Thanks in advance,
      -Rory

I don't think it matters, really. But, for increasing your chances for LD's, you should sleep at the same time every day. And the more you sleep, more chance you'll have one. And because you're just 13, you sleep alot right? So, I don't think it will take you long to have an LD

It depends. For example, if you are sleeping on the day and if you are living with family members and/or friends nearby, and if they make much noise, your sleep quality will obviously not be any good, making it difficult to have lucid dreams. Other than that, there's no issues on what time you chose to go to sleep.

      Cool,

But I thought you were supposed to sleep for like 8-10 hours a night...

(The signup said you had to be 15... Thats why is said I am 13. I'm guilty! xD)

As long as you get the same amount of sleep, it dosent matter then?

You're lucky, I wish I had discovered lucid dreams that early. Well, actually, I did, I was only 10 or something when I had my first lucid dream, but I thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime freak occurance and that I would never get another one. Also, I didn't realize just how much control I could have, so you know what I did when I could do anything I wanted to with absolutely zero consequences? I went to buy some ice cream, apparently that's what a 10 year old wants the most in the entire world. :(

After that I didn't have another lucid dream until I was 20 or so (I'm 27 now), then I looked it up on the net and have been having them regularly ever since. But I wasted like 10 years of my life with regular dreams when I could have had lucid dreams instead and that sucks. :(

Oh well, at least I didn't discover LDs at age 95 or something. :)

      Well

      to

be honest I don't think it matters.

Whichever time you go to sleep

probably works well for your own schedule

      Just make sure

      That you have a consistent

      sleep schedule each night

Yeah, it is best to get 8-10 hours of sleep/day. Some people require less, though.

Haha, that made me laugh my ass off! But yeah, as a kid one wants candy and shit like that alot more than when older, as one has access to it so much more now. I recall having a lucid at a young age, and I created a HUGE Mars chocolate bar and started chewing on it, haha!

You guy get 8-10 hours of sleep each day?!

I only sleep for like 4 or 5 hours. So that mean...I get about a decade more of time on my hand when i live to be more than 100 years old.

I get approx. 7.5 hours of sleep on school days, and 9 hours on weekends and holidays.
