2 dreams at the same time? Same dream 2 times?

Yeah a few nights ago I think I had concurrent dreams. They were the same dream, except one character was switched, everything else was the same. My best friend was my companion in one, and my mom was in the other. I am pretty sure the dreams happened at the same time. Which is hard to fathom, and even harder for me to explain. There is a chance that the dreams were merely consecutive, not concurrent. But that would still be weird, I mean, the same dream but 1 thing is different? What do you guys think, has anyone else had similar experiences?

I think I have some locations in my dreams that repeat, but it might be just deja vu. Hmm I really should keep a log Sometimes sections of my dreams replay twice in the same dream, and like replaying part of a videogame twice, I can choose to act differently the second time round.
