Describe Your Lucid Houses

when i have my next lucid im going to build myself a "dream home" lol get it? no i didnt think so, and ive decided that it will be exactly like this: or like this: describe what your houses or what they will be like below. as always any and all replys are welcome. :yumdumdoodledum:

That's a great idea conisag! Stephen LaBerge suggests something similar in his book Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming. Great minds think alike He suggests filling your house with stuff to help you solve problems - a lucid workshop! My house would look something like this:

Ah that's really cool. Maybe it would be a good experiment for successfull Lucid Dreamers to build themselves a favorite place inside a Lucid dream and try and STORE it into their memory. The most wonderfull palace with courtyards and gardens could be built in a Lucid Dream and in the same Lucid Dream you could Memorise every room, tower and courtyard to the details in your Memory. Then in later Lucid Dreams try and Re-conjure up this palace by using your Memory. Then walk around the palace and Do your bes to memorise every detail of the place. By doing so you might actually be able to really burn it into your Memory and this would allow you to conjure up this Entire, intricate DreamScene triggered just by a simple memory very fast. Much the way like you'd get a List of Spanish words and the English Translations for school: The first time you read through all Spanish words and their En glish meaning you're probably NOT going to remember alot of them. But if you read and learn it over and over again it will eventually get ''printed'' into your memory and thus you will easily score a high grade in the test. I'm a very good learner, too bad I'm not any good in intentionally inducing Lucid Dreams yet.

i have an ideal dream house on the side of a beach, i would get a pic but it isn't real, its from a game, would be awesome, just to chill out in, nice idea though, lol i'm sick of adding things to do in my lucid dreams when there about as frequent as a solar eclipse

Dont forget to add a huge tower so you can view the world from way up, and also have a great view of the stars. It would also serve as a great place to jump off . Would be interesting assigning different rooms different functions, like a library with a huge fireplace where you can sit down and talk to Einstein, or a room with a stargate so you can teleport to any dream scene etc (dials in tropical beach).

When I am to increase in my Lucid Induction abilities this Dream-house Idea is the first ''Lucid Mission'' I will go on. Perhaps you could DRAW your Dreamhouse: inside outside, every individual Room, hall, Courtyard, Tower...etc You could try and store these drawings in your Room very well also in Waking Life by just ''Learning'' them like the way you would learn Spanish Words as I mentioned before. Maybe you could also build a Scale Model of it using cartboard and stuff like that: I have plenty of Maquette-material to build with. I'm gunna do this very soon! If I am to build the Scale models I will take pictures with my Cellphone and upload them to my Deviant Art I'll scan, upload the Drawings as well and share them here when I'm done

Perhaps you could DRAW your Dreamhouse: inside outside, every individual Room, hall, Courtyard, Tower...etc You could try and store these drawings in your Room very well also in Waking Life by just ''Learning'' them like the way you would learn Spanish Words as I mentioned before. Maybe you could also build a Scale Model of it using cartboard and stuff like that: I have plenty of Maquette-material to build with. I'm gunna do this very soon! If I am to build the Scale models I will take pictures with my Cellphone and upload them to my Deviant Art I'll scan, upload the Drawings as well and share them here when I'm done [/b] Whoever decides to try this would def. have to include a "lucid crystal" or something that keeps you lucid when your in its proximity. =)

My house would look something like this: [/b] I had a house similar to this one once- it was more stucco though. My current home is rather difficult to explain- I think I'll build it someday- it's modest (well more than the palaces you guys are showing!!!!! hehehehe)

This is an awesome idea. I seem to have fairly good luck taking things from waking visualizations into dreams, if I try (dream incubation, perhaps?), so I'm going to mentally explore my ideal dream-house tonight before I drop off properly. The house could become a great dreamsign, too. I can see it now. "Well, time to go home-- wait, I don't actually live here! What?"

I would also have a library that holds books with different ideas for dreams. Ooo, what about a sort of obstacle course/gym? And maybe a room where I could talk with my DG...Oh, the Possibilities!*rambles on and on*

Oooh, interesting ideas, Lunalight. I remember once dreaming of a sort of dojo, where someone was giving my flying lessons. I'm definately building this into my dream-house. Once I get my dream house up and running, I am totally throwing a dinner party for my favorite dream characters.

Whoo! In a weird hypnagogic, lucid sort of state, I managed to find and wander around in the yard of what is apparently going to be my lucid house. I spent a long time while worrying about what it would look like and what it would contain, and whether I would like it. I remember deciding, "ahh, screw it. My subconcious probably knows what I want." My dream-house is quite pretty-- a large, brick, old-fashioned manor type deal on a cliff or hilltop. The yard is filled with rhododendrons, bushes and some thorny vines that I think are going to end up as wild roses, and little cobbled paths lead through it. I stumbled upon a garden in the yard (everything was planted except for the pumpkins, and the peas were already sprouting) and poked around in the toolshed for a while. I managed to find the back door that lead into a room with a lot of muddy boots and things hanging up, but by the time I got into the kitchen, I could feel myself slipping into deeper sleep. Now, if only I can manage to carry this image into a normal lucid!

What an interesting topic! Ah, I've had several homes in my dreams, but the only home I can really call my home was actually an apartment... One room, white walls, wood floor, a closet the size of my door and depth of a fridge. No bathroom. No kitchen. Just a closet and bedroom. Not even a window. Haha, and to believe I was able to fit a mattress in a 'home' even smaller than my room in real life [which is less than 20x20 feet big]. Though, if I were to have a real 'dream home' I'd want one similar to this style but only bigger and completely modernized zen/eclectic decor on the inside, and maybe a better garden, the yard's too bright without willow and other kinds o trees-

That's a great idea. I think when I have my first (100% awareness) lucid dream, I will have a giant office building in Dream Town/Dream City/Dreamville/etc. (the biggest city in the dream planet). And inside there will be a giant room with my dream guide and some other cool gadgets including a teleportation device that teleports me to my dream house which is on the other side of the planet. And in the dream house, there will be a machine in the kitchen that makes any food I desire appear. The first food I'll try will be deviled eggs.

Im going to try to lucid tonight, im really looking forward to it. my attempt: Create my house, and have a start of a garden/ a river/ a house with these rooms a GYM a Cage fighting room a stargate type portal and a dream control learning/study room and a room where i will meet anyone i want example somone famous like elvis or Eeinstein and most of all a weapons storage room, in here i want a mass colelction of weapons/spells everything the whole shibang! and last but not least a bedroom for me to play in lmao, i know i know im not asking alot for my 3rd lucid.
