Ok so lately I've been having an increase in LDs, like three in the past ten days which is awesome for me. Before those I have only had one LD which lasted only a few seconds. With each LD I am able to stay lucid for longer periods of time and am beginning to have more control. Whenever I realize I'm dreaming at first, I get this really wierd feeling. It's almost like I'm completely drunk and can barely stand but I'm completely sober. It's happened everytime, and I have no idea what this is about. It's kind of like I'm stumbling all over the place and cant keep my eyes open. It makes me think I'm slipping out of lucidity or something so I have to fight this feeling off and I haven't exactly been able to until last night. I was just curious if anyone else has had these kinds of issues before.

All my WILDs and FA-induced LDs start in this "zombie" mode; this state was very hard to exit at first (with closing/blurry eyes, very hard to move arms and legs...), but it is becoming easier since a few weeks. It is like it only lasts as long as I am in my dream-bedroom, and disappear instantly when I go outside (So I would estimate this lasts 5-10 seconds)
I have the same "drunk" symptoms: when I walk to exit my room, I can't walk right, bump in the walls, see cross-eyed (by the way, I can see my nose in this state... so much for this RC)

However it never happens in DILDs, where I become lucid in the middle of an existing dream.
      Dec. 2006 - July 2007:
      92 DILDs + 30 WILDs ; 75% too short, 24% decent, ~3 of 2 to 5 minutes
      (I stopped counting after that)

if your looking to get rid of this feeling when next lucid just try focusing on something, see yourself becoming in control, concentrate and try and become stable, hope this helps

I tried once by looking at my hands and it was crazy. My fingers were all distorted and some were growing really long and others were shrinking at the same time. I had no clue what was going on lol.

well if ou want to tackle this you really need to focus, imagine your hands becoming whole and solid, imagine gaining the full control you want, imagine everything around you solidifying and slotting into place like a jigsaw, you need to really persist if you want to tackle this.
