I've tried WILDs, I've tried MILDs, and I've tried DILDs, but all I've gotten was... well, nothing. When I was younger, I found that all I had to do to control my dreams was simply thinking it before I went to bed. Now, this brings me to the theory... is it trying that makes it so hard?

Well, I was lying in bed some nights ago, and found that I couldn't feel my body. It felt like there was sort of a stick going through one ear and coming out the other with a ringing. Soon, lights began flashing and I felt my eyes twitching. Despite what I read hours ago, I panicked and opened my eyes. After that, there was no trying anymore.

Some time later I tried it again, and it wasn't as effective. I was using my own technique and found myself in SP in no time, and having HIs just like that. But this is where my question comes in:

What is the most effective way to enter the dream?

Everything I've read either hasn't worked, or were so redundant I just forgot about them. I've also read that there is no one effective way to enter, so just give me your best advice. So can anyone give me any techniques on entering the dreams without being too wordy?
