      Speaking in tongue?

I have an idea, has anyone every had a conversation with someone in a dream in a language that you don't know. If someone else heard it it would be giberish, but in your dream you understand it?

In most of the dreams I remember, I have a very hard time remembering conversations, and I think its because it just sounds like, as you say, gibberish. Although I sometimes remember the MEANING of what someone might have said, its impossible to recall what it actually sounded like. I have (mostly when I can recall a dream) a very good memory of surroundings and looks of things/DCs and so on, but when it comes to dialoges and sounds everything just melds together...

I've had a similiar experience with different languages in a dream - but in written form, not spoken.

I was lucid and doing a test of trying to read and the words would do crazy things like turn into some hybrid spanish or suddenly be upside down. And nope, I couldn't read it or deem it's meaning at all.

It was a pretty funny experience to see how my mind would play tricks on me like that when trying to purposely read in a dream.
