      Question how to increase the time of the dream?

      how to increase the time of the dream?
      and not by rubbing hands or doing something during the dream....
      i mean doing something in waking life that will increase my dream time

      What exactly are you asking, i can help either way but do you mean your actual perception of time or how much time you believe to have passed in the dream. Which?

      well man, i heard that if u take vitamins it will help. u know vividness and whatnot..
      u should take some FocusFactor lol it just might help

      well there are ways but i've heard its very difficult, you could try knackering yourself completely the day before so you get more sleep in the morning thus longer REM periods, but actually adjusting the length is probably difficult, i'd just try having some lucid dreams in the later hours of sleep, i can't really suggest much else, sorry, hope it helps though

      There have been experiments using auditory and somatosensory (touch) stimuli to increase REM duration. But this decreased REM frequency.

      Sleep deprivation will also increase REM duration. Also sleeping while in a hot bath has shown to increase REM duration (could be drowning hazard).

      REM duration increases with each sequential REM period so if you sleep in the morning they will be longer.

      There have been lots of other studies into increasing REM duration, just read up on some scientific articles.
