      What am I doing wrong?

I have been trying lucid dreaming for the past 3-4 weeks, but I am getting nowhere. So far, I have had only two LDs, both of which I had no control over and were short. I've been doing MILD, FILD, WILD, WBTB, etc but nothing seems to work. I also do RCs at least 15 times a day and nothing carries over into my dreams. What should I be doing differently?

Stick with one technique instead of just doing a different one every night. Try WBTB and MILD combined. It works well and is quite easy.

Alright, I'll try that. Since WBTB is all about getting your mind active, would it be a good idea to wake up, do my homework in the middle of the night, then go back to bed? I'm sure things like school homework would really get your mind active, right?

Just remember that you want to do something that won't wake you up too much or you'll have trouble falling back asleep and and will simply just lay there in frustration. Also for me, staying up longer than 20 minutes is too long.. but everyone is different and you'll have to experiment on just how long awake is right for you.

Ya don't sweat it if it's only been a month, it will happen eventually if you keep trying. And furthermore, they only get easier after your first few.
