If MILD can help induce lucid dreams, then maybe....

.... I was thinking, MILD is telling your mind you will lucid dream and remember your dreams, so doesn't that mean that if you tell your mind something like"remember what I just saw", it'll do it?

well, your mind does remember everythign you tell it

but, telling your own self to remember something in order to become lucid sounds more like hypnosis to me

if so, getting in a trance state before saying the affirmations to yourself would produce better results

I'm not too fond of Hypnosis, I prefer to work things consciously.. But if you're ok with it, then it shall really help you out

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.

actually I meant that if you can tell yourself the you'll lucid dream, then can't you tell your mind to do other stuff in your daily life? but the above technique is still useful

To an extent yes what you are saying is correct, but if you say move that pencil or make that explode you see where I am going?
