      Dreamviews Oprah moment:

For those that have been able to acheive fairly regular lucidity: How is this changed your life? Are you doing many things differently now that you might not have if not for lucidity? (ok that's tough to answer). Should those of us that are still learning be the audience and clap enthusiastically feeling inspired? (BTW: I don't really like Oprah)

It hasn't changed my life at all except for spending more of time on this website other than that I don't think much has changed. Although I do find I spend a lot more time sleeping then if I wasn't able to recall my dreams or be able to go Lucid.

Well beyond being more open to things around me and my lips being constently split (my defult rc is biting my bottom lip) it hasnt changed a thing... it's kinda like a game. It's great but it wont change your life unless you obsess over it. (oh yah like Brandon said and no more staying up alnight staring at a tv/computer screen.)

It has had a drastic impact on my life. I now question reality more often, much more often.

I also have a place I can go where I can fly and do those things that are not possible when awake. I am calmer and more at peace with myself now, I suspect it is because lucid dreaming is a great place to deal with all of those dragons that live in ones subconsious.

Also, I feel I have a mission now, helping the world learn about lucid dreaming.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Lucid dreaming has changed my life in how I look at sleep and at dreams.

While I've never been closed minded (and I don't see how those who LD could be), LDing has opened my mind up to even deeper spirituality.

It's made me realize how "blessed" I am to even be able to LD.

It's given me this forum "family" and a place I feel I belong and can be of use.

The following is an answer I gave in a similar topic below:

For me lucid dreaming provides an escape from my everyday routine.

I can go anywhere, do anything and be anyone (it's like taking a fantasy vacation without leaving the house)!

OK, I am not a regular lucid dreamer, but I question reality a lot more. Anything slightly out of the ordinary I take a clock reality check. Also I am at least trying to get more sleep and I have slightly more will power to wake up. because I need to record my dreams.
