      Attaining Lucidity/Dream Control

Wow, it's great to see so many people posting. We're averaging more posts per day than ever (I think it's somewhere between 150-200 per day). It's a little hard to tell because the board's average encompasses the entire span of the board's lifetime--even when it got like 3 posts per day--so it suggests our average is 32.82 posts/day.

Anyway, I'm concerned about the "Dream Control" forum because it seems to be neglected quite a bit. I think most people either don't understand the differentiation between lucid dreaming and dream control, or the two are so closely linked that people find it difficult to talk about one w/o the other. Thus, this is a poll asking whether users feel we should dump the "Dream Control" forum, and adjust the "Attaining Lucidity" forum so that it includes dream control as well.

The posts usually incude both topics in one post.

leave it. as more people learn how to acheive it, there will be more discussion on control.

Maybe you should just pair them for a while, until this place grows. Then seperate them.

No please leave it! and see what happens.

Dream control and attaining lucidity are two completely different things, DUH

I completely agree with Seeker. The only problem is that frequent lucid dreams are hard to achieve so no one has very many examples or experience on controling there dreams.

However, even though many people on this site cant give tips on controlling there dreams, the little help that is posted on there occasionally is better than nothing and not worth being lost in the middle of a bunch of "Attaining Lucidity" threads.

It would be "Dream control/attaining lucidity" not just "attaining lucidity".

indeed. i agree. i'll keep the poll going anyway, just cuz polls are fun, but i'll probably leave dream control there. i just know that whenever i visit a forum here or there, i find it overwhelming when there are too many categories. thus, i wanted to keep this forum simple. perhaps there are just the right amount of categories as is. dunno.
