      Question unrealistic LD

Ok, the other night i attempted to do WILD, this was my third attempt at a LD using WILD, i think i got to the hypnogogic imagry, however the trouble i've found is i can't tell if i've gotten SP or not. For me there is no rushing in the ears, and no real noticible difference from the slight numbness that comes with hypnogogic. I don't know if i actually achieved SP or not, however, eventually there was a daydream-like image, and i assumed that this was LD. It was not nearly as vivid as i expected it to be, in fact it was almost exactly like a daydream, in that i had almost complete dream control but the images weren't at all vivid. I'm wondering if i actually got a LD or not...

That sounds like the border between dreaming and being awake. I get those images sometimes as i'm falling asleep, so its iffy if it could be called a lucid dream. You have to try to pull yourself into it, and when you manage you will kind of "pop" into the dream in 3D. Don't worry though, LDs can be just as real as waking life.
