      real world sensation in LD

      hey all,

first time poster here (long time LDer and lurker), just wanted to say awesome site all to start.

Ok onto the matter at hand: last night i had a rather weird exp. while LDing, firstly i usually can only WILD (i know seems weird but thats me in a nut shell:p) yet last night I DILDed so that was a nice change as i wasnt planning on LDing (i usually only do it when i have a decent sleeping pattern established and have nothing to do the next day so i can WILD and then LD for hours) but it happened anyway.
Ok this is what happened: I fell asleep and entered a dream, i was in a car park with my dream guide ( at least i think it was my dream guide...) and his car had just been towed and in the space where it had been there was a note that told us it was gone and we had to go and pick it up at the impound, now at this point my dream guide got very very pissed off and started ranting about his bad luck, then i turned to him and said "dont worry its only a dream!", and so i moved into lucidity. Now this is the really weird part: as soon as i went lucid i remembered that i had curled up to sleep and that i had my arms crossed across my chest with my hands on my shoulders with my head down on my chest, as soon as i realised this i started to feel this in my dream even though my arms were doing something else in my dream. This sensation lasted till i woke up and i woke in the same position as i went to sleep.

Im freaked out about this as i dont think i should be able to feel whats going on in real life in a LD but i did. Now ontop of this i also exp. another strange sensation when i tried to fly.

I usually fly for a bit to start a LD as it centers me and allows me to stay in a LD for longer than if i didnt (like what spinning does for some), but as i tried i didnt fly but i felt as if my self was trying to rip backwards out of my body and fly away but i couldnt, ontop of this my teeth felt like they were aching and i was in some pain (nothing new, i have felt some massive pain while LDing).

I wanted to know if anyone has had the same sort of exp or if they could explain it for me as i have been doing this for a while and its never happened before, the only thing i can think of is that it was not my normal way of LDing and this may have affected me in a strange way. So any info on this would be nice, also i was wondering who had exp. pain in a dream before, LD or otherwise.
thank you all, the Emperor protects

I've had this sort of crossover before. You are just partially aware of each of your two worlds. Thinking too much about your real life body is likely to pull you out of your dream and wake you up, but not necessarily.
