can anyone "feel touch" in a dream

ok i mean by feel touch is they have sensations when the touch something. i know that came out wrong but i mean when you touch sand paper its rough when you touch water its wet and when someoen hits you, you can feel it.

last nigh ti had a ream my birds jumped on my back. I stood still and i could FEEL 3 pairs of legs not two. this is unusual it turned out there was onother bird there but. it was unusual that I could FEEL usually i just see in a dream.

Also later on i was taking a look at my birds cage and their egg FELT heavy. So i quickly sealed it in a garbage bin so it couldnt hatc.

the unusualy thing i suppose is i was able to "feel touch"

I wonder if there is anybody here who can do that in dreams and lucid dreams here?

and if so did you always have that ability or develop it over time?

Because i notice this after im keeping a dream journal on paper since school ended
Some are born to sweet deleight
Some are born to endless night

I feel feelings in dreams, espcially pain. I also remeber taste in some of my dreams both non and are lucid.

Oh yes, tactile sensations are definitely possible! Actually, any sensations are possible, but the ones you notice more in waking usually are more prevelant in dreams. Dreams can contain some senses, tons of senses, or no sensations at all! Any time a person experiences a story or event while asleep, I think it qualifies as a dream, whether there's sensory quality or not.

I find that if I experience something in waking life that is emotionally powerful, all the senses in that event occur in my dream as well. I.E. If you get punched really hard in real life, you might feel some pain or strong touching sensations in your dream! If you smell something really strong that you haven't smelled in a while, you might smell in your dream, etc... This is just a personal occurence, though. I don't know if it happens this way for others.

If you want more senses in dreams, maybe try getting really emotionally connected to what you sense in waking. It's worth a shot, right?

Yea all of my senses are present in my dreams. Sight, Touch, Smell, Sound, and Tastes are all there. So like the quote above you can have all of your senses, some of them, none of them, and senses you didn't know you had. So it may vary from dream to dream, but one or more of them is usually present.
