      Question Is it lucid??

hi! i'm just new to this site, and i think it is brilliant
so for the past couple of nights i have been having normal dreams, but every so often i realise that it is a dream, from then everything seems to happen so quickly...such as the other night i was in the supermarket, hoping to see a certain person, all of a sudden he appears from around the corner, but then i dont say anything and he walks past me....it feels like i have no power to speak, and i'm not sure if i'll remember to in my dream.
is this a lucid dream??as i can make things appear but when they do, i can't seem to do anything else?? plz help

      Hi and welcome,

The definition of a Lucid Dream is very simple: A dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming. If I understood correctly, then yes, what you described was a lucid dream. The "dream world" is very strange and abstract, so not being able to speak can happen. I don't know why it happens when you summon someone, but don't get discouraged. I'm sure you'll have more control in you next LD. Just believe in yourself and have fun!

      See you later!
