Hey everyone,
This is my first post, I thought I'd post since I had my third lucid dream. Before I ask any questions I just want to let everyone know that these forums have been extremely helpful in my pursuit of being an expert lucid dreamer!
I have a couple questions that are both pretty basic. Ok: I have read Exploring the World Of Lucid Dreaming, I can recall up to two dreams a night, every night, and I've kept a dream log. I have had 3 lucid dreams in the past three months. I have set a goal twice to get a lucid dream, after my first lucid I decided to give myself 30 days to get another lucid dream. I did that in about 15 days. Then I set a goal to get one in another 20 days, and I had a lucid dream on the 20th day. It seems that through all my efforts I'm not having them as frequently as I would think. I do reality checks all the time, and all the dreams I've had were DILD, and I remembered to do all my reality checks. Am I doing something wrong? Or am I moving a fine pace?
My second question is an easy one. In this last lucid dream, I stayed lucid for about five minutes, remaining calm the whole time. When I walked into a house and saw a women there and said "Hi" I started to lose the dream. Would the act of talking been what woke me up? I tried the bottle technique to stay in the dream but I think I tried it too late.
Thanks for the help!
