      Question Understanding Sleep Paralysis

I have been having SP after LD's lately. I am want to ask those who have experienced SP to tell me how it was for you. The thing that bothers me is that I always hear odd things and I either feel like someone is hovering near me or I see shadow like beings with the sounds. Is this hallucination or a type of HI. I am fairly certain that I have my eyes open (room looks normal and the lighting is right) but I wonder if I just think I have my eyes open and I am just sort of dreaming during the SP. Or maybe SP is FA?

When I used to experience SP it would be in the mornings weirdly enough, and I have never met anyone else, normally they have it before becoming lucid trying to WILD or something.

For me it was scarey. It would be very light, but i couldnt see anything, i would know the environment I would be in, and I would feel fully awake but I cannot move, not even twich. I would panic and think I were in a coma or something and I can be aware of what is going on but cant get the attention of anyone.

Since I realised what SP was I have never experienced it since

Yeah it probably is, but your probably less aware in a coma.

      I can't get sleep paralysis.

Either I am so sleepy I drift off without getting paralysis or I keep myself aware an I can just feel my surroundings and usually start itching.

And my feelings for my surroundings just doesn't go away unless i let myself sleep.

That said, this morning I tried for like 20 minutes and my limbs felt heavy and my eye started twitching uncontrollably. But I think that was just a random spaz because I could still feel my bed and sheets.
