If you are going to do WILD get in the position that you fall asleep in or find yourself to most comfortable, laying on the back is merely a suggestion and is not necessary. As for having LD's and such and saying that you have better LD's on your back this is a myth at best. |

I agree with what the others have said. Personally, I almost always lie on my back when I'm do relaxation but, I always sleep on my side, which is when the LDing occurs. |

I'm pretty sure I almost fully entered SP on an afternoon nap the other day. I didn't have any covers on me and was laying on my back. There is just a point where I think you can't mistake when you're entering SP. I felt myself "slip" and I felt like was spinning/falling. I couldn't feel my body at all either. The bad part though was that right when that happened I got really excited. I could feel my hard start to RACE and I woke up up and tried to slow my breathing |

Hmm, what you just said gives me the impression that you're trying to WILD at the beginning of the night. If so then you're already stacking the deck against yourself. Try WBTB and WILD at the same time. You'll have much better luck than if you try WILD when you first go to bed. |
