Yep I agree about WILD. However I've had some extremely vivid lucid dreams with other methods. You can always use techniques to increase vividness once you enter the LD. |

I think a WILD may be more likely to throw you immediately into a vivid LD, but I believe you can get just as vivid with other methods if you practice. Most of my dreams are early morning DILDs, and lately I've been getting some extremely vivid dreams. |

I have heard a WILD is the best method, but i have had some pretty intense LDs through DILD so if WILD is better maybe I should try that instead :p |

You definitely owe it to yourself to try WBTB + WILD. Even if the experience isn't more vivid there's a good chance of having a longer lucid time, which is certainly worth it alone. |

I dont know what WBTB+WILD is..... I will look into this, assume its in some form of tutorial on the site? |
|
Yes, there are tutorials here. WBTB is when you "Wake and go Back To Bed". It's best done after 5-6 hours of sleep (I try for 5 1/4 hours after falling asleep). Awaken yourself with your alarm and get up for 15-30 minutes (some people swear by 45 minutes). The goal is to time your awakening so that you catch one of your later, longer dream periods (REM). That way, when you fall back asleep you'll often enter directly into REM again meaning, if you WILD, you'll be right there in a dream immediately instead of simply setting yourself up for a possible DILD |
