      Sorry to sound like a total newb, but... what is FILD?

      I've read a lot of posts on DV here and it looks like FILD has been a sucessful technique for quite a few people... but where's the tutorial?? Maybe I'm just being blind, but I can't find it and I don't know what it is. Sorry if this is in the wrong section...

      FILD stands for Finger Induced Lucid Dream.

      Okay, I bookmarked that page for the future. So, what exactly do you do to induce a FILD dream? FILD isn't in there.

      If you ask me, FILD is the same thing as WILD except that you use minor bodily movements as the focal point of your attention (as opposed to mental tasks).

      Pretty much. The trick is to forget you're making those movements when trying to fall asleep, keeping your mind somewhat awake.
