      Cancer and Blindness

      Can Lucid Dreaming cause cancer

      and can lucid dreaming also cause u to go blind because of REM's?

      because i read it on this one forum on this site... and it really makes me a little skeptical to try
      Who needs weed to get the high feeling?
      when u can lucid dream your self to do anything you want to?

      Ehhh.. Yung, could you provide a link to where you saw this information? I can't imagine how lucid dreaming can cause cancer nor make you blind.

      I've heard of ridiculous claims such as masturbation can make you go blind, but lucid dreaming?? LOL - where do people get this stuff. Better not be on THIS site.

      lol actully yeah

      its one of the Forums though,
      its on of the forums about people saying how lucid dreaming should be banned and stuff... i didnt wanna try it though and have it happen.. i had to be sure

      althought i do belive it is bull

      Hahah, banning lucid dreaming. I wonder how they imagine that would be realised, let alone why.

      But, aye, "REM" is Rapid Eye Movement, which happens every time you dream. It doesn't only happen during lucid dreams.

      And cancer...unless normal dreams cause cancer, lucid dreams won't either.

      Look at it in perspective: dreams are part of the mind. They aren't physical, hence they can't cause physical effects, let alone harmful ones such as cancer.

      ok the Cancer i thought was Bull

      but it was mostly the REM stuff about going blind..

      but i didnt know it happens every time u dream... (which u dream everynight)

      So thanx for clearing that up for me

      Yung, that was a joke thread. If you were to look at other posts by the same people, you'd see that they're all active lucid dreamers just having a little fun.
