Why would you want to do that?

How about... make a rock so light that you can throw it into space? ;>_>

The only way you could make a rock too heavy to lift (I am assuming we are talking lucid talk here) is if we new it was too heavy in which case we could not because we know there are no boundaries while lucid.

Unless that you convince yourself that you are lying to ...yourself?

I'm sure you can guess where I got the idea from.

In a lucid dream you can (intheory at least) do anything. So, why not try it out and see if it is true?

What an interesting paradox, it's a lucid dream, so you should be able to do anything, yet you can't make a rock so heavy that it's impossible to lift as you should be able to lift it in one whatever the weight.

Kind of like the whole "If god can do anything, can he 'X' a 'Y' so 'Z' that he can't 'A' it?" thing.

It interests me.

Depends how good your dream control is really.

I have been lucid with pretty much no control. I once fought an old lady (she was evil - trust me). I picked up a golf club, but she still suceeded in beating the crap out of me.

So perhaps, make the rock heavy, then try and...lost your lucid powers. This would be easy for me. I can do things in lucids that make it harder for me, but I cannot do anything that makes it easier for me!!!

SO you mean a smallish one you should easilly be able to lift, but are unable too. Yeah I see where you are going!! That would be weird!!! I think if I tried that it woudl confuse and wake me lol

This would be quite easy as if you saw a rock and seriouslly doubted that you would not be able to lift it chances are you would not be able to lift it, but if you had no shadow of doubt that you would be able to lift it you would probably be able to lift it.

I have had LD's where I was not able to lift something that was huge and then I have LD's where I have lifted incredible weights so........... It works both ways I suppose.
