I had a dream once and I was sleeping in the dream but I could still hear people talking to me. So I was inside a dream, which was me sleeping inside another dream. I was lucid in the second one but I thought the place I was sleeping in(place where I was hearing voices) was real. So it was a lucid dream inside of a nonlucid dream. If you can understand that. |

A lucid dream WITHIN a dream.
Have any of you ever had a dream within a dream?
Or even better, a lucid dream within a dream?
I am pretty sure it happened to me last night, and it was weird...like watching TV, on TV...(if your watching a tv program, and the characters are watching tv!)
It was strange, and i didn't want to classify it as an LD, because it was like i was aware i was dreaming, INSIDE of another dream! So i couldn't really control anything, but i could..."i am the crumpled sheets of paper behind an artists' attempt at perfection"

long time back... did a WILD that didnt get me lucid, because it was all false awakenings...
Wild -> False awakening, damnit I think, try again -> Another false awakening, stuff happens, something weird with mountains, I deal with it and go to bed, thinking about how annoying all that stuff is interupting with me trying to do a WILD -> Another false awakening, more weird stuff happens, ->Wake up for real -> Me beeing paranoid
3 dreams in one... crazy

I've had a dream where I had a dream within the dream, but I knew I was dreaming in the dream and was explaining to my sister what was going on.
It was weird.

I have had dreams where I was sleeping but I could not actually remember dreaming inside the dream.... That would be cool though

I had about 5 of such experiences.
Few WILDs and one regular dream within a dream.
VERY strange feeling when you wake up from them...

one time i was LDing and i went to sleep in the dream to see what would happen, and when i "fell asleep" i was in a dream with a higher level of lucidnessssssssss.
