      Lucid Dreaming = Longer Life

I was just thinking... Once you get proficient at LDing, you wouldn't 'sleep' (As in losing consciousness.) as much as a non LDing person would, therefore you experience more as a conscious being meaning a 'longer' life. What do you all think? I might have worded that bad, so ask some questions, lol.

Sounds reasonable to me. Or, at least, you're utilizing more of your life span, and spending less of it in a passive state.
      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.

Clever, I hadn't thought of LD's like that before...

I think it's kinda funny how the one of the selling points on the Dreamviews main page is "more time to do things during the day." It's a valid point, but when I read that, I thought "I can get half my studying done while sleeping!"

Because we all know how productive we are during LD's.

I guess this sorta applies to non-LDs as well, if you think about it.
Have you heard the gypsy hymns in the odd hours of the night?

...mastering the dreamtime = having more brain time and all life is, basically, is your brain interpreting info/stimuli. Here's an idea: humans need entertainment; that's why the entertainment industry is so big. Dreams are our natural, built-in entertainment system, for which we pay nothing except a few biologically-needed hours. (I think I have just proven intelligent design.)

That's really funny, I was just thinking about that the other day. In fact, if you have thirty minutes of lucid dreaming each night for the next fifty years (a lofty goal, i know ), than you will have "lived" an extra year!

You know, LDs could be used to actually help you live longer.

You could use them as stress relievers. You could also use them to gain insight about yourself. You would combine these to live a healthier lifestyle, maybe stave off those stress-related problems later in life.

LDs are like using the 1/3 of your life that would normally be wasted sleeping instead of, well, wasting it.

My goodness, I'm going to get out there and live my life! Now, where did I put my keys? . . .
