      DC's

I've been thinking about when I'm in a lucid dream, asking a DC about a spaceship dealership, so I can go and fly into space...

      is this recomended for newbies???

I think flying into space is a bit ambitious for a newbie.

You could try it. Or, just expect to see a spaceship when you turn around, and hopefully it will be there when you do.

I think I'm noticing that you still think of your dreams as having logical rules and relationships between actions and outcomes. Don't. In your dreams, you can breathe underwater, change the color of your skin (to green, even), walk up walls, fly or sprout wings, and conjure whatever you want just by pulling it out of your pocket. You don't need a DC to sell you a spaceship. Heck, you don't even need a spaceship! But, of course, whatever the path of least resistance is for you and your mind, that's the way to go. Some people can't expect doors into existence (I don't even know if I can, I haven't had enough LD experience), so they find another way to move between settings, or they just change the one they're in by letting it all blow away like a pile of dust, and then recreate it as they wish.

What's the worst that could happen? You wake up, you go back to sleep, you try again. That's the beauty of dreams: When you fall down, you don't get hurt. But if you are concerned about extending your LDs and don't want to risk losing lucidity, then go ahead and play it safe. Nobody's keeping score.

      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.

I know that my dreams don't have any laws, It's just what suits me the best I guess... but I do love science fiction, and would like to do stuff like that :p

I don't see why you are asking us this question it's really up to you and whether or not you could do it depends entirely upon yourself.

Don't believe it, nothing is "too much" for a newbie. The only thing that makes it too much is thinking it's too much. Don't allow that idea of "too much" ever get set in your mind.

You can do anything you want. Don't forget that or you'll risk losing your powers.
