      Lightbulb Splitting yourself

Has anyone ever created a clone of themself in a dream and used it to do stuff? I mean like you could send it to go wake youself up while you explore what's on the other side of the bridge (this months lucid tasks) for example. You'd have to have some way of being able to see what it sees though. Like have a camera phone and the battery life bar could moniter the clone's existance, the signal bar could moniter how close the clone is or how good of a connection you have to the clone, and the camera function could show you what the clone sees. It could also have a gps function to show you where it is at the moment.

Anyways this is just an idea i had to be able to get more done in a lucid dream. Has anyone done something like this before? Does anyone have any ideas for this? And most importantly Is This Possible?

I did this in the very first LD I had years ago. I wanted to test what I could do, so I tried to dive head-first into a deep empty swimming pool. I was too chicken to actually do it, so I decided to make a clone of myself to do it instead.

I looked across the pool, and there was my clone! Naked and standing there like an empty-headed fool. I told him to dive in, and he did. Heaps o' fun!

Awesome, the clone part is possible then, but what about being able to see what it sees?

I have no idea, but if the point is to accomplish both tasks quickly, I'd rather just try for the instant teleportation.

I heard someone say that they once had multiple perceptions in a lucid dream...

Not just to accomplish them quickly, but if your clone runs into trouble, it'd be a lot easier just to for example, close the cell phone open it up again and when you goto the camera to check out what is around your clone make everything around the clone disappear (my earlier example for what to do with the clone using the cell phone), rather than accidentally getting caught up un it and losing lucidity or the dream all together.

The few times I made a clone it acted like a Dream Guide for me.
