      Lucid Dreaming and Weight Loss!

I didn't think I would find a bigger motivator for lucid dreaming than the prospect of lucid dream sex, but I did!
      Excerpt from EWOLD, page 164:
A few years back I was trying to lose weight. I would dream I was in a grocery store, bakery, or restaraunt, and food was everywhere. I was conscious that I was dreaming and therefore could eat whatever I wanted. I proceeded to pig out on the feast before me, even tasting the food. These dreams would satisfy my craving to gorge myself. I would wake feeling satisfied-not full, but satisfied-and if during the day I got the urge to eat something I shouldn't I just thought "I'll eat it tonight in my dream," and I did!
When I get lucid dreaming down, I'll just make myself a room filled with Pizza Hut P'Zones and Taco Bell Grilled Stuffed Burritos!

Lucid Dreaming can help achieve many different things, thats why i believe it is such a valuable skill to have, once you get better at it you can pretty much achieve anything thats within your bounds.

Yes, this can definitely be done--I often eat things I shouldn't IRL, in my lucid dreams; they usually taste pretty good!

Good old self-discipline would work too.

But why settle for just that, when you can have it in your dreams?

I had a big chocolate cookie in a lucid last night; maybe because of this thread. I focused on it to judge how real it was--really good taste and texture. I guess my brain doesn't have any problem pulling up the taste of chocolate.

Yeah, besides, It's so easy its almost like cheating! Why take the door where you have to kill a dragon guarding the Holy Grail when you can take the back way where you can snatch it from under the dragon's ass?"
