I think this 'impulsiveness' you speak of is actually a quality of dreams itself, rather then your lucidity. To me, it simply means you're lucid, but not quite as conscious yet as in waking life. There's many degrees of lucidity after all, and this one is probably one of the most typical.
I wouldn't call it impulsiveness though, but rather "reactiveness". In most dreams, including the less conscious lucid dreams, we tend to be passive reactors in our dreams, meaning we simply react to whatever happens around us, without questioning and without really planning. We accept things the way they are and react to them with whatever seems most suitable at the time, without really thinking about what already happened or what is going to happen in the future.
Well, that's what it seems like to me, at least
